Mabe Fratti

Mabe Fratti is an experimental cellist and composer. For her work with elements of shoegaze and dream pop, in addition to the cello, she also uses synthesizers and the human voice, her performances often include improvisational passages.

On her debut EP Pies sobre la tierra Mabe "magiced" Fratti with hypnotic compositions, the first album Será que ahora podremos entendernos was dominated by meditative surfaces, through which she continued to the clearer landscapes of Se ve desde aquí. Improvisation runs like a red thread through all her recordings, which is so far the strongest motif of the singles leading to the new Sentir que no sabes benefiting from a full-fledged band, which, while leaving behind the previously dominant cello, opens up new, unexplored paths.< /p>

The list of media such as NPR, The Wire or Pitchfork singing the praises of Mabe Fratti is growing happily, and the talents of the young Female composers are also paying attention to the expanding legions of fans. Just a few days before the Prague concert, Mabe Fratti will curate part of the program of the international music festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands - Le Guess Who? 2023.
