The biggest perk of being a standup comedian? No matter what happens to you, every streak of luck and every catastrophe - at some point it will become a brilliant stage number. Pure gold! And so Markus Barth gets out the shovel in his new live show and digs for the nuggets.
The master of maximally minimalist stand-up ("One stage, one microphone - I'll leave everything else to Helene Fischer") digs everywhere where it sparkles - but also where it hurts. He plows through his own biography, rumbles through current events and even looks into the future for his audience (“At what age do I actually have to stroll through German wine towns in racing bike shoes?”).< br/>Aside from that, he just chats seemingly harmlessly with the audience, doesn't spare anyone (especially himself) and effortlessly manages the balancing act between pain and punchline.
