Michal Prokop Trio

Michal Prokop Trio will perform 31 January 2025 at the Pod Palmovkou Theater. . As a result of the unexpected loss of Luboš Andršt in 2021, the remaining members still decided to continue their activities. At that time, they invited guitarist Pavel Marcel, a former producer of the newer albums Michal Prokop & Framus Five. There was no doubt about Marcel's talent and that he could represent the genius of one of the best Czech guitarists, Luboš Andršt. Thus, they followed the activities of the original trio, but with the personnel occupation, the repertoire was partially changed. So it can be said that the trio has taken a new dimension with Pavel. Every listener finds his own. They hear blues, rock, pop and elements of jazz. As fans and regular visitors to Michal Prokop concerts know, it is not an acoustic version of Framus Five. It is a completely separate program. Of course, there are also some notorious stones such as blues about swallowed words (or bumblebees ). Due to the planned new album FRAMUS FIVE, which should be released next year, we can look forward to hearing some completely unknown hits, not only at the Framus Five concerts, but perhaps in the acoustic version by the trio. >
