Presentation of customs associated with the celebration of the summer solstice. /A Presentation on Customs Associated with the Summer Solstice. In the largest museum in nature in Slovakia in unusual time - from 6 pm. until 23.00 hrs. - You will get to know Jánské customs, enjoy the songwriter's concert Chris Ellys with the violonist Matej Tkáč and have fun in finding a treasure or at the bonfire.
The work of a songwriter Chris Ellys, who went on his musical journey in 2016, is in the spirit of India-Folk with fine guitar wins and a hoarse baritone. His songs act as a personal testimony of a wandering rapsode and bear the legacy of folk legends such as Simon & Garfunkel, Glen Hansard and Damien Rice. He will be accompanied by Matej Tkáč, known from the collaboration on the albums Jana Kirchner, Katka Koščová and the groups Para and Longital. The concert will start at the museum of the Slovak Village Museum at 10 pm The captivating atmosphere, which accompanied the Midsummer Night, conjures up the folk group Javorník from Lúk pod Makytou. Janska Vatra will be ignited after dark at 21.30.
Night tours of the Museum on Jánské customs are prepared for visitors. Here you will learn about the work of magical forces or beings that had more power during the Jánsko dinner than for other days. For children and adults, the reading of ghostly stories about supernatural beings that may also meet during the event will be prepared. Visitors will be able to look for a treasure that hides our museum by means of a solution to various puzzles.
Herbs collected during the Midsummer Night are said to have extraordinary strength - healing and magical, so you can go with herbalist Ivka to look for and get to know herbs that grow in the area. The program will last from 18.00 to 23.00, entry to the premises will be possible until 21.30.
