Od totality k totalite

During the guided tour, we will take a closer look at the period when, at the end of the 1930s, Devín came under German rule and became part of the Third Reich.

It will be discussed how great politics was reflected in the shape of the castle, its use and the meaning attributed to it at that time. In the second part, the discussion will focus on the time after the liberation in 1945 and on the changes brought about by the communist coup in February 1948. Visitors will learn how the relationship to the castle changed, its place in society and the way it was interpreted.
