About event
Folk festival at Campus Hybernská. A unique evening of concerts by Czech and foreign artists.
Performance:
- Archduke Rock N Rollu
- The artist Archduke from Cambridge combines the guitar with singing in a unique performance. After completing his 12-track debut album Natural Protagonist, Archduke is now touring regularly and planning a number of releases. Participants can watch the new music video for the song You'll be Loved right now. In his live show, the Archduke has supported up and coming artists such as Sports Team, The Dunwells and Wild Front, as well as acts such as Mark Chadwick of The Levellers at venues including The Railway in Winchester, The Horn in St Albans and The Fighting Cocks in Kingston.
- Jakub Eden
- Jakub Eden is a guitarist and singer. Influenced by guitarists such as Paco de Lucia and alt-rock bands from the 90s, his compositions are a fusion of song form, flamenco guitar technique and harmonic elements of neoclassical music. His work was created organically by countless improvisations during his travels in European countries, where he was inspired by the local atmosphere. The texts he writes in English are life reflections, deep introspection and a collage of fleeting moments, which he preserves in the form of poetry. He performs mainly in Prague music clubs, at music festivals throughout the Czech Republic and occasionally goes abroad (Water Music Festival in Lithuania).
- Fragments< ul>
- Sarah and Františka are a singing duo. They recently founded a band where they perform under the name Fragmenty. The group alternates behind the guitar: Františka Padevětová, Tadeáš Lorenc, Martin Hvězda and Michaela Kortánová. Added keyboards: Daniel Thein, bass guitar: Tadeáš Lorenc and drums: Matěj Kavan. Lyrics and vocals: Sarah Köverová. Their main genre is folk - and with a touch of beautiful melancholy they sing about their own view of the world in original songs.
- "JanVé" is a budding folk singer influenced by the texts of the Czech underground from the 90s and the young folk scene. He has only been creating for the last 3 years, he never studied at an art-oriented school, he makes music simply as he feels and writes lyrics as he sees them. He hasn't done any big shows yet, but his dream is to play at some small summer festival. In his lyrics, he deals with the questions of his fears, he tries to think about the future through music, the overall feeling of his music is rather calm and melancholic, but always with a good ending. As he says about himself “If I were even calmer, I would already start going back in time.”
- Jan Váňa is a camp singer. His lyrics will make many cry with their tenderness, and his music will embrace them. His heart always returns to his hometown of Tábor, from which he draws inspiration and in which he still seeks peace. In April, he released his debut album on Indies Scope called A na Jordán got dark. A new EP will also be released at the end of November.
- Prague folk-blues guitar duo that unknowingly draws inspiration from oldies and childhood songs that their parents they let in the car. David Peřich on acoustics and Jan Eis on cigarbox guitar.
