Parliamentary Sea Evening 2025
Event by: Deutsche Meeresstiftung
Location: Zeiss Major Planetarium, Prenzlauer Allee 80, Berlin - Bezirk Pankow
About event
After the successful launch of the European Ocean Pact as part of the UN Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice, the central question is now: How can Germany protect the ocean? Implement the Pact in concrete terms – politically, scientifically, economically and socially?
The next Parliamentary Evening of the German Marine Foundation is dedicated to this task. Representatives from the Bundestag, ministries, science, business and civil society discuss the national implementation of the European Ocean Pact goals: the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems, the promotion of sustainable use of the sea and the development of innovative technologies for climate, energy and food security.
