The German Sea Foundation is a non -profit organization that is based on the basis of scientific knowledge for sustainable use and development of our ocean as a common legacy of mankind.

We are committed to protecting our largest and most important ecosystem on our planet and where necessary for the restoration of his health. We make the fascinating life in the ocean tangible, point out threats and give the ocean a voice because it is indispensable for the survival of the people on our planet.

A flourishing network of business, science and society for more marine skills for everyone is one of the most important pillars of the work of the German Sea Foundation. Our annual "Love Your Ocean" initiative on Boot Düsseldorf is not only one of our pilot projects, but a perfect example of how we successfully bring it together for the benefit of our ocean.
