Under the guidance of Sebastian Geckert-Pfleger, you will learn how to open oysters professionally, store them and present them with a delicate aroma.

Freshness, shine and the fine sea aroma - in this workshop you will learn everything about the world of oysters. Under the guidance of Sebastian Geckert-Pfleger, you will learn how to open, store and present oysters professionally. You will get an overview of different varieties such as Fines de Claire or Gillardeau, learn hygiene and safety standards when dealing with raw seafood and practice preparing simple, delicious accompanying variants. 🦪✨

About the actor:

Sebastian Geckert-Pfleger has worked in Switzerland, on cruise ships and in renowned Berlin houses. He imparts his knowledge of product knowledge, presentation and pairing in a practical manner - and with the passion of a true professional.

You must order workshop tickets before the workshop, the number of participants for the Workshop is limited. Participation in this workshop costs 5 euros (also for students) and is free with a student ID. Why are we offering paid tickets this year? The restaurants put a lot of effort into creating a pleasant experience for you. Unfortunately, in recent years, workshops have often been booked and then not attended. We thought that was a shame because other interested parties couldn't take part. The fee is intended to ensure that this happens less. The money will be donated to the #proudtokellner initiative.
