The František Báleš Ensemble, in cooperation with the Artvin civic association, is launching the 4th year of an artistic and educational event called With Hviezdoslav do lavíc.
The beauty of the poetry of Slovak poets - Smrek, Kostra, Dilong, Rúfus, Janko Kráľ and Hviezdoslav, in the form of attractive songs performed by a quartet that won the Radio Head Awards and the Esprit Jazz Awards for their work, will be heard on 28 October. at 18:00 in the Central Slovak Education Center in Banská Bystrica. In addition to rhythmically melodic games and an interactive lecture, the audience, students of primary and secondary schools as well as the general public, will enjoy the following topics: "Have you heard the jazzed Hviezdoslav? How does a melody for the text of a poem come about? What do music and poetry have in common?" they will take away an experience in the form of a concert in which original compositions from the other two albums of the ensemble (Sonnets and Musical Poems) will be heard, as well as from the upcoming new CD, which will be released in the spring of next year.
