Střední škola umění a designu a Vyšší odborná škola Brno

Originally an independent building for the Tkalcov Higher School today serves students of the Secondary School of Arts and Design and the Higher School Brno, a.s. For insufficient capacity, the school complex was expanded to include a reconstructed French 99 building. The newly built restoration studios were added 2012, when the school was administratively merged with the art school in Husova Street and a restoration college in Obřany. The new Motion Design educational program gained 2014 facilities in the modified premises of the former mechanical weaving mill.
