Regina Alfery: was born in Vienna into a musical household. She received private lessons in violin and guitar and later studied psychology. In addition to her musical works (together with Raimund Trimmel), the artist exhibits her visual works at home and abroad. Her study trips took her to Africa, Asia and America.

Raimund Trimmel: was born in Vienna, where he also completed his cello studies. He is the founder and member of various orchestras and duos, including Duo Allegro and Duo Per Arte. Numerous appearances at home and abroad. Raimund Trimmel himself is the author of many compositions for a wide variety of chamber music ensembles.

Trio for violin, viola and cello (UA, 2022): Is it a dream or reality ? Or is reality a dream in which we find ourselves?

Based on these considerations, the trio describes fragmentary sound structures and dream sequences that alternate or shift into one another.

Dietmar Kirchner

“The interesting question for me is always how my music relates to reality - whether it refers to it, depicts it, shows it or it transformed and takes responsibility.” (D.K.)

“Winterspelt” is the compositional examination of the novel of the same name by Stefan Andres. It is an attempt to address fiction in the form of a composition for string quartet. The atmosphere and mood of the novel is translated into music.

The novel itself deals with the experiences of the civilian population during the war. It shows how war affects people's lives on a personal and social level.

Dana Cristina Probst

studied composition at Anatol Vieru at the National University of Music Bucharest and with Michael Jarrell at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Before moving to Austria, she worked as a university assistant at the Bucharest University of Music. She is the laureate of several awards. Dana Cristina Probst lives in Vienna as a freelance composer and as a teacher of composition, music theory and piano.

Precious (Environmental) Worlds (2024) UA, funding from the BMKÖS

Inspired and fascinated by two books from the field of biology, I would like to With this new work I want to draw attention to the sensitive environment in which we live and on which we depend.

The work is dedicated to life in the forests, primarily to birds, as a social one living beings. Some bird species can even produce complex melodies and calls that they sing to each other. These songs are not only used for communication, but also for courtship and wooing a partner. My piece is based on transcriptions of mostly exotic bird songs. The four instruments are not treated as a compact sound body, but are grouped in two pairs: violin I with violin II, viola with cello.

Ralph Schutti was born in 1974, studied classical guitar and composition first at the Tyrolean State Conservatory and later at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He also took part in numerous master classes. Ralph Schutti is laureate of several awards such as: B. the “stadt_potentiale” of the state capital Innsbruck or the Theodor Körner Promotion Prize. His works are repeatedly supported by the public sector and performed at home and abroad. As a lutenist, the artist leads an active concert life.

Maxim Seloujanov is considered one of the most creative and imaginative composers of his generation. He was born in Moscow and studied with Boguslaw Schaeffer in Salzburg.
His life is characterized by diverse artistic activities and belonging to various cultural spaces. In his work he refers to both Russian culture and the achievements of the Western avant-garde. Seloujanov is a winner of several international competitions state awards.
