Svetový deň pletenia na verejnosti

The International Day of Knitting in Public is celebrated every June Saturday. The aim of the holiday is to show knitting as a pleasant activity - for all ages, not just for grandparents who want to produce a sweater for their beloved grandchildren. The day brings a feeling of community for knitters, which often celebrate together by knitting in public areas to make their hobby visible and access the public.

Worldwide Knit in Public Day was founded in 2005 by Danielle Landes and remains the world's largest knitting event. 🙂
