Tomáš Liška & Invisible World

The renowned double bassist and composer Tomáš Liška releases his seventh solo album under the name Holy Grail. With the band Invisible World, he thus continues the dramaturgy he has been building for years – combining distinctive creations with international impulses and openness to cultural overlaps.

The album Holy Grail features a number of foreign guests who expand its sound character and bring inspiration ranging from the Iberian Peninsula to the Middle East. A new element in Liška's musical palette is the use of vocals - the text for the title track Holy Grail was created in collaboration between Tomáš Liška and the singer Kateřina García, who sang it at the same time.

Tomáš Liška is active on the Czech and international music scene mainly in the jazz & world genre. He has been a member of the group Robert Křestťan & Druhá tráva for fifteen years and collaborates with a number of leading Czech performers. He has seven self-titled albums to his credit, five of which were nominated for the Anděl Award, and the album Hope (2020) won this award in the Jazz & Blues category.
