Tradičný cyklovýlet do Viedne

Spring trip by the Danube floodplain forests to the Vienna Prater. We will go to Hainburg after the cycling, we cross the embankment to its end and then the bridge to the left side of the Danube. Next, we will continue to Vienna on the Danube dams hidden in the Donau-Aaun Nature Reserve. On the way we stop in the town of Orth an der Donau, where we will refresh ourselves near the picturesque castle. We can get to the center of Vienna through the Donauinsel recreation area, where the hardy participants can swim. Relax and suck in the Vienna atmosphere in Prater.

The route leads along cycling roads without automotive traffic, a small part (2x approx. 3km) is without asphalt surface, but without any problems also on the road bike. Route length 65 km.

We will go in groups or individually. Depending on the wind, the faster group will keep the pace of about 30 km/h, slower groups 20 - 25 km/h. In the town of Orth and the finish in Prater (on the spot according to the map) the participants will be able to meet and possibly coordinate the journey back. Praterster, there is no need to walk through the center of Vienna.
