Boost your teenager's confidence with theater techniques
Developing confidence and communication skills through drama techniques
Drama techniques are a powerful tool for developing social and emotional skills in young people. In our courses, we guide teenagers to discover the power of self-expression and creation through theatre. In this way, we help them become more attentive, understand their parents or classmates more, and feel more self-confident in society.
Main goals of the course:
Increasing attention: Dramatic activities develop attention and listening. , which leads
to a better understanding and cooperation between the participants.
Freeing creativity: Dramatic exercises provide space for personal and
collective creativity, thus helping young people to feel freer and more
courageous.
Development of social skills: Drama techniques promote better communication and
understanding between participants, leading to better social interaction outside
course environment.
Reducing stage fright: Drama activities help participants overcome stage fright
which is often associated with public speaking (for example at school) and interaction with
others.
Results:
After participating in our courses, teenagers often tell us that they feel more confident in their answers at school, learn to better understand their parents or classmates. These courses provide them with attention, freedom and room for development, which allows them to build stronger social bonds and better cope with the daily challenges they face in this fragile period when their personality is being formed.

EXPERIENCE SATURDAY FUN AT THE THEATER!
Those interested in the drama club / personality development course for young people is constantly increasing, and therefore we are opening a new group on September 14, 2024.
During the course, students have the opportunity to develop their communication and presentation skills, learn to cope with stage fright and gain the ability to present themselves in public. Students are able to recognize their abilities and develop them further.
During the course, we place great emphasis on the participants becoming more familiar with the works of world-famous playwrights, such as: Shakespeare, Moliere, Goldoni, Ibsen, Chekhov …

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Start of the course: September 14, 2024 (Saturday) 1 p.m. hours
Duration of the course: 3 months (1 x 2 hours per week, every week on Saturday from 13.00 to 15.00)
The closing ceremony of the course (performance of the performance) WILL BE TAKEN ON SATURDAY:
14. December 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
ATTENTION!
The course will not take place on November 2nd, which of course will not affect the number of meetings.
Place of the course: Old Town Center of Culture and Education / Great ballet hall. (Školská 14, 81107 Bratislava)
The Meteorit Theater team reserves the right to change the venue specified in the invitation (Školská 14, 81107 Bratislava) to other premises of the Meteorit Theater located in the center of Bratislava.
Recommended age category: from 12 to 17 years

Participation fee: EUR 348 (for the entire duration of the course)
The paid registration fee is non-refundable.
If If your child cannot participate in the course for any reason, you can move the course to the next possible date, where we will re-register your child without any problems.
About the Course
During the exam period, students through games, exercises and relevant trainings focus primarily on the development of concentration, coping with nervousness and improving speaking skills. These skills can greatly help in improving the ability to concentrate, which can benefit young people not only on stage, but also in achieving better results in school.
At the end of the course, in cooperation with its participants, we will prepare and present a theater play together, which will be rehearsed during the course. The participants will thus have the opportunity not only to perform a theater play, but also to collaborate on its creation throughout the course.
The course includes:
The course includes exercises aimed at overcoming stage fright, strengthening the ability to concentrate, increasing sensitivity and discovering one's own hidden talents. We offer proven strategies for managing negative thoughts that hold us back from achieving personal goals. The course also includes relaxation exercises, movement exercises, physiotherapy exercises for correct use of the body, rhetorical exercises and opportunities to improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
USEFUL INFORMATION:
We always count on that the child cannot attend the course due to illness or other circumstances. Since it is important for us that each participant gains as much knowledge as possible during the courses and has beautiful experiences, the last 2 meetings will be extended by an hour to make up for any delays.
Drinking is provided during the course.
