Viah + support: nevertouch

Viah is a Prague electropop band consisting of musical trio Vi, Rosa and Tomáš and visual artist Nina. Their work is based on soft double voices, dance beats and sound experiments that draw you into their personal "emotional sauna".

On stage, they move between an intimate atmosphere and a dynamic club pace - introverted souls with a need for exhibitionism, moody, stubborn, with an eye for detail and a desire to surprise not only each other, but also the audience. The Saudade album was created along the Portuguese Fisherman's Trail, in a landscape of sands, wild trees and wind-whipped cliffs. The year of the dragon brought unbridled energy, courage and movement to the band's work, while the year of the snake brought immersion in the finer layers of sound, regeneration and intuition. In cooperation with producer Tomáš Martínek, the band shifted its sound towards bolder, clubier, but at the same time ambient positions. Saudade is the Portuguese term for a special mixture of nostalgia, gratitude, sadness and joy - longing and love. For Viah, this album is a manifesto of a new creative path and an invitation to discover the worlds they can convey through sound. Since their foundation in 2017, they have played over 100 concerts (of which 20 abroad) and performed at the Sziget 2023, Colors of Ostrava 2023 and Waves Vienna festivals. In 2019, they won the music competition Czeching Radio Wave.
