Aaron Park‘s Little Big

The band Little Big is a project of the American composer Aaron Parks. The musicians of the project put their experience not only from jazz, but also from electronic music, R&B, indie pop, alternative country into Aaron Parks' music.

Aaron Parks started to make a name for himself at the turn of the millennium. In the 1990s, he drew attention to himself mainly as Terence Blanchard's sideman. He achieved real success thanks to his fifth album Invisible Cinema from 2008, released by the prestigious Blue Note label. The Little Big record represents a deliberate return to the electric sound of Invisible Cinema. In the same cast with electric guitar, bass guitar and drums, albeit with new musicians. The sound of the album was again inspired by, among other things, the indie-rock scene.
