De Kargadoor

Social and cultural platform De Kargadoor has been offering a place to independent makers and idealistic doers for 65 years. De Kargadoor believes in the power of dialogue to achieve change and connection. Many Utrecht organizations have been at home in the historic building on the Oudegracht for years. This breeding ground offers space for an extensive program with dialogue, debate, music, storytelling, comedy and visual arts. More than 35 volunteers work in the organization to realize De Kargadoor's mission.

Our vision is: different! We believe in the doers who dare and the voices that say something different. With a diverse social and cultural program, we offer these stories a stage or make office and meeting spaces available to allow stories to develop and grow. It is possible at De Kargadoor.
