Gabriela Eibenová
Gabriela Eibenová, the founder of the Rosa Bohemica festival, is a renowned singer - performer of early music.
She studied at the Prague Conservatory, the theory and performance practice of early music at Masaryk University, and historical interpretation at THE PIT. With her husband, organist and conductor Adam Viktora, she founded the vocal-instrumental group Ensemble Inégal, which profiles itself primarily as a promoter of the work of the Czech Baroque composer Jan Dismas Zelenka. He performs intensively with this ensemble at important international music festivals (Prague Spring, Oude Muziek Utrecht, Tage Alter Musik Regensburg, Musica Antiqua Brugge, Bach Festival Riga, International Music Festival Santander, Lufthansa Music Festival London, Stockholm Early Music Festival aj.) She sang almost all over Europe, in Israel, Lebanon and Japan. He has more than 40 CD recordings to his credit. She works as a singing teacher at master courses specializing in the interpretation of early music. For years, she has been practicing the "Victorious Breath" yoga breathing technique, which helps her in her profession and in life. She sang for Pope John Paul II. and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She and her husband are raising three children.
