HlasKontraBas

The HlasKontraBas project was originally founded by Ridina Ahmedová and Petr Tichý as a duo. More precisely, a duo using audio loops created in real time using loopers when arranging and layering tracks. Even as a duo, they rightfully received a nomination for the Anděl award for the eponymous album from 2016. However, in 2019, the founders thought of expanding the line-up to include three more female singers and three double basses, with which they would replace all the audio tracks from the loopers. With all the advantages of the "human factor" - liveliness, malleability and freedom of communication. And also with multiplied energy. The phenomenal singers Alice Bauer, Mirka Novak and Markéta Zdeňková were then invited to join the ensemble, and virtuoso double bassists Tomáš Liška, Ondřej Štajnochr and Ondřej Komárek joined them.
