Pavel Švingr
Soloist of the National Theater Opera. He successfully participated in a number of domestic and international competitions, where he won many awards. These include, in particular, the 1st prize in the B. Martinů song competition in Prague, a special award for the interpretation of a B. Martinů song, in 2009 at the 44th Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary, he received the 2nd prize in the category Junior men. In February 2011, he won the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg international competition in Berlin, where he won the role of Aquarius in Dvořák's Rusalka. He also performs regularly in concert as part of the international Euroopera project; he last sang the bass solo in Beethoven's Mass in C major in November 2010 with the conductor Miloš Krejčí in Zittau, Germany. In April 2011, he sang the bass solo in Dvořák's Stabat mater with the North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice under the baton of Charles Olivieri-Munro.
