Prouza

Prouza is a Czech music group whose genre ranges between post punk and alternative pop-rock. The formation of the band is officially dated from 1989, but in fact, with some changes in the name (originally Brumer's Prouza) and the personnel, the band has been around since 1981. Prouza has 4 albums to his credit, collaboration on visuals and TV shows with a world-renowned filmmaker David Ondříček or Czech Television, several rare acts, singles, countless participations in music compilations and hundreds of concerts played. The lineup around bassist Bronislav Svoboda and guitarist Vladimír Frank (both from 1981-present) currently consists of singer Tomáš Gavlas (2022-present), drummer Alex Buš (2023-present) and guitarist Radovan Typovský (since 2024).

The concerts of the Frýdek-local band are an energetic mixture of the current ferocity of the young generation with the authentic sound of the nineties, which attracts dancers of all generations to the stage.
