Siksa

Siksa is a Polish slang word for a naive and sexually attractive young woman. It's also the band name chosen by poet and punk singer Alex Freixeit and bassist Buri, who like to make certain sections of society uncomfortable. Duo Siksa belongs to "the most polarizing Polish artists, whose radical and brutally honest work tries to destroy the patriarchy concert after concert". Siksa, who comes from a punk, literary and theatrical background, likes to dissect European consciousness in her performances. Quoting her own description, “she is a girl on a mission.”
