TINCON gGmbH

The TINCON (originally from: “Teenage Internetwork Conference”) was founded in 2015 as a non-profit organization. The goal of TINCON is to help the young generation, their digital life and media worlds, their interests and concerns gain greater publicity and attention.

In 2019 we were awarded the Grimme Online Award SPECIAL awarded. From the jury's statement:

"With TINCON, young people and young adults are empowering themselves to use the Internet as a place of creativity, publishing and producing, learning and imparting knowledge Communication and respectful cooperation, in short: to be understood and designed as a natural living space."

TINCON offers young people and their issues a stage and focuses on digital youth culture. With a high-quality, wide-ranging program, TINCON celebrates the young generation and their culture for what they are: creative, political, digital. TINCON creates sustainable social attention for young, especially digital, topics and living environments. TINCON promotes political and social engagement and amplifies the voices of young people.

We are currently producing live events in Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg (TINCON), a workshop series in our rooms in Kreuzberg (TINCON Academy), program workshops, working with young people in the “U21 team”, our own digital formats and the TikTok channel we manage, what.politik.
