Wechselweise was developed in October 2021 by a team of journalists, marketing experts, PR specialists, graphic designers and programmers who grew up in the 60s and early 70s, as children of the sexual revolution, with clubbing and lifestyle magazines and the witnessed the birth of the internet. And now you are in menopause.

Why did we develop Wechselweise.net?

Experience shows: women around 50 have both feet in life , are well educated, have raised children, have careers and are financially better off than ever - but in the public eye we suddenly disappear. We are considered difficult to employ on the job market. In comforting commercials, we as “silver agers” are the target group for bashful incontinence advertising. We cannot and do not want to identify with that.

Let's talk about it!

Yes, we are getting older. We are entering menopause. The body changes. This is inevitable – and a natural process. A process that can, admittedly, demand a lot from us. That's why we no longer want to remain silent about it. We want to talk about what's happening to us. We want to share our experiences because every woman experiences this time differently. We want to find out how we can deal with the side effects of hormonal changes - regardless of whether we rely on pure nature or competent medical, therapeutic or cosmetic help. We want to be taken seriously and informed by our doctors.

Let's create new role models!

After all, statistically speaking, we still have a lot of our lives ahead of us us. And we want to experience this joyfully, healthily and fit - even if we have to do a little more than before. We don't want to compete with the youth or imitate them. We want to find our own new rhythm and be role models for our daughters for a fulfilled, self-determined life, even during and beyond menopause.
