O výstave
Výstava Hranice videného prináša do Trenčína čerstvú energiu mladej ostravskej scény. Sochy, maľby aj priestorové inštalácie sa stretávajú v galérii FOR MAAT, aby spoločne otvorili otázky o tom, čo všetko dokážeme – alebo nedokážeme – vnímať. Nechajte sa pozvať k tichému rozhovoru s materiálom, priestorom aj vlastným vnútrom. Čaká vás súčasné umenie, ktoré premýšľa nad tým, kde končí viditeľné – a kde sa začína to, čo cítime.
Výstava Hranice videného prepája troch súčasných*é umelcov*kyne – Sabinu Knetlovú, Libora Novotného a Terezu Samkovú – výrazných reprezentantov*ky mladej ostravskej vizuálnej scény, ktorých tvorba sa zaoberá vzťahom priestoru, materiality a ľudskej existencie. Výstava je rozhovorom medzi troma prístupmi – maľbou, inštaláciou a sochárstvom – a navádza diváka*čku k zamysleniu sa nad hranicami viditeľného, materiálneho, alebo iba tušeného. Výstavný projekt skúma hranice medzi prirodzeným a umelým, stabilitou a premenou, fyzickým a duchovným priestorom. Rozširuje pohľad na možné duálne vzťahy v široko chápanom poli architektúry a priestoru, vrátane rezíduí; osobných identít vo vzťahu k emocionálnym zážitkom súčasného globalizovaného sveta, ľudskej telesnosti a pominuteľnosti. Diela autorov*iek prostredníctvom symbolických foriem prehovárajú k objasneniu reziduálnych „trhlín“.

About the Exhibition
The exhibition Boundaries of the Visible brings fresh energy from the young Ostrava art scene to Trenčín. Sculptures, paintings, and spatial installations come together at the FOR MAAT gallery to open up questions about what we are – or are not – capable of perceiving. You are invited into a silent dialogue with material, space, and your own inner self. Expect contemporary art that reflects on where visibility ends – and where what we feel begins.
The exhibition connects three contemporary artists – Sabina Knetlová, Libor Novotný, and Tereza Samková – prominent representatives of the young Ostrava visual scene. Their work explores the relationship between space, materiality, and human existence. The exhibition is a conversation between three approaches – painting, installation, and sculpture – and encourages the viewer to reflect on the boundaries of the visible, the material, and the merely sensed. The project explores the borders between natural and artificial, stability and transformation, physical and spiritual space. It broadens perspectives on possible dual relationships within the broadly understood fields of architecture and space, including residues; personal identities in relation to emotional experiences of the contemporary globalized world, human corporeality, and transience. The artists’ works speak through symbolic forms to clarify residual “cracks.”
