O podujatí
Príďte objaviť výstavu, ktorá zaznamenáva vizuálne cesty troch súčasných autorov a autoriek.
V Galérii FORMAAT v Trenčíne sa stretáva súčasné česko-slovenské umenie v dialógu o identite, autoportréte a plynutí času. Výstava Autoreport predstaví trojicu umelcov a umelkýň strednej generácie, ktorí počas posledného desaťročia pretvárali svoj vizuálny jazyk a skúmali témy vlastného obrazu aj spoločenského zrkadlenia.
Vstúpte do priestorov, ktoré vás pozývajú na spoločnú cestu cez objekt, fotografiu, inštaláciu aj pohyblivý obraz.
📌 O podujatí
Autoreport je skupinová výstava Viktora Freša, Pavlíny Fichta Čiernej a Marka Thera. Každý z nich hľadá iné odpovede na otázky, čo je autoportrét dnes – keď sa identita prepisuje medzi analógom a digitálom, medzi intímnym a verejným.
Kurátorský výber Vladimíra Beskida zhromažďuje diela, ktoré vznikali v uplynulých rokoch. Spoločne mapujú posun autorov – ich osobný aj umelecký „autoreport“.
📅 Výstava je otvorená od 25. júla do 14. septembra 2025.
Otváracie hodiny: každý piatok, sobotu a nedeľu od 15:00 do 18:00

Autorka sa dlhodobo venuje telesnosti, zraniteľnosti a intímnym témam v médiu fotografie a videa.
🙋♂️ Viktor Frešo
Výrazná osobnosť súčasnej slovenskej scény. Jeho diela ironizujú stereotypy a hľadajú hranice medzi vysokým a populárnym vizuálnym kódom.
🙋♂️ Mark Ther
Český vizuálny umelec skúmajúci identitu, pamäť a rodové stereotypy. Pracuje s videom, inštaláciou aj performatívnymi prvkami.

Výstava je otvorená všetkým, ktorí chcú:

Výstava Autoreport je aktivitou projektu S koreňmi v Trenčíne, ktorý je súčasťou Trenčín 2026. Projekt finančne podporujú Mesto Trenčín, Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj, Ministerstvo kultúry SR a Európska únia.

At Galéria FORMAAT in Trenčín, contemporary Czech and Slovak art meets in a dialogue about identity, self-portrait, and the passage of time. The exhibition Autoreport presents three mid-career artists who have reshaped their visual language over the past decade and explored themes of self-image and social reflection.

📌 About the Event
Autoreport is a group exhibition featuring Viktor Frešo, Pavlína Fichta Čierna, and Mark Ther. Each of them seeks different answers to the question: what is a self-portrait today – when identity shifts between analog and digital, between intimate and public.
Curator Vladimír Beskid has selected works created in recent years. Together, they map the artists’ evolution – their personal and artistic “autoreport.”
📅 The exhibition is open from July 25 to September 14, 2025.
Opening hours: every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

An artist long focused on corporeality, vulnerability, and intimate themes in photography and video.
🙋♂️ Viktor Frešo
A prominent figure of the contemporary Slovak scene. His works playfully challenge stereotypes and explore the boundary between high and popular visual codes.
🙋♂️ Mark Ther
A Czech visual artist exploring identity, memory, and gender stereotypes. He works with video, installation, and performative elements.
🙋♂️ Curator of the exhibition: Vladimír Beskid
🔹 Who the Exhibition Is For
The exhibition is open to anyone who wants to:
explore the current Czech-Slovak visual scene
discover the transformations of artistic identity and self-portraiture
get inspired by media ranging from objects to artist videos
All are welcome: professionals in visual arts, students, the cultural public, and curious visitors or tourists.
The exhibition Autoreport is an activity of the project With Roots in Trenčín, which is part of Trenčín 2026.
The project is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, and the European Union.
