About event
The Hollywood Night concert is one of the most popular and will not be missing at this year's International Music Festival Prague Proms. This time, the organizers have prepared a cocktail of stellar movie tunes from the movies The Pink Panther, The Bullitt Case, Whiplash, Forrest Gump, Ghostbusters or Piti Piti Pa. They will also offer a band of unforgettable hits by Ennio Morricone.
Each concert is a challenge for the organizers, who carefully choose the dramaturgy and especially the performers. Now they have invited Czech soloists, singer Simona Hulejová and singer Ondřej Izdného. The vocal sextet Skety, who played a concert at The Loop Jazz Club last year during the Prague Proms festival, will also perform. Among the foreign guests, the soloists of the Jeremy Winston Chorale, one of the most awarded gospel choirs in the world, will take the stage of the Smetana Hall in front of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. It is no coincidence that this choir was commissioned in December 2012 by the then US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle for a performance at the White House.
