Lieder Society presents, in collaboration with RUN OPERUN, a half-stage site-specific performance Songs of lost souls.

The performance offers a glimpse into a world of the bizarre and terrifying, where lost souls come to life in the middle of a dark atmosphere 19th century. This unusual happening will take participants to the old cemetery, which will be created on the premises of the Savarin riding school. Individual souls tell their tragic, sometimes even grotesque stories here. Music by J. Brahms, F. Schubert, C. Schumann, F. Liszt, G. Mahler, A. Dvořák, Z. Fibich, A. V. Horák will be played. The dramaturgy of the band draws on the fascination with the aesthetics of darkness, ugliness and the supernatural that dominated the artistic circles of this era, and combines them with a folk literature full of macabre and mysterious motifs. Viewers will find themselves in a world where melancholy and dread intermingle with the desire for redemption. Spooky characters and ghosts come to life through music so that they can find salvation at the end of the evening.

These strange stories will be breathed into life by the leading performers of the young generation together with the attendees of the concert-educational platform of the Young Salon association. Šimon Hrdlička will give a speech.
