Tamara Morozová

Tamara Morozová is a young Czech singer of Slovak origin who completed her master's degree at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts in 2017. She drew attention to herself for the first time in 2005 by winning the 3rd prize at the Prague Singer competition. In 2007, she won the Competition Show of the Czech Conservatory and then recorded the competition repertoire for the Czech Republic. In 2012, she won the title of laureate in the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary in the Junior category, and in 2017 she won the second prize in the Song category. She is also the winner of the third prize from the international competition Iuventus Canti for the year 2019.

For the HAMU Opera Studio, she performed the title role of Tatiana from the opera Eugene Onegin, the First Lady in the opera The Magic Flute and Frau Vogelsang in Theatrical Director. As part of the Erasmus program, she performed at RSH Düsseldorf as Agatha in The Witcher and Mimi in La Bohéme. In 2015, she received an IsaOperaVienna scholarship and took part in master classes under the guidance of KS Eddy Moser. In 2016, she graduated from the Sommerakademie Mozarteum in Salzburg under the guidance of KS Daphne Evangelatos and was chosen among the best participants of the course. In August 2017, she made her debut as Mother in the opera "Hänsel und Gretel" in Weikersheim, Germany. She is a scholarship recipient of the "Junge Musiker Stiftung" foundation and regularly collaborates with KS Marga Schiml. In 2018, she also became a scholarship holder of the Bayreuth Festspiele. In 2019, she staged the monoopera Lidský hlas by F. Poulenc with the opera society Run OpeRun and performed it at the Opera2020 festival.

Her darkly colored full voice also stands out in the song repertoire, where she focuses mainly on Czech and German romantic literature .
