How did the Easter ceremonies come about, what do the Lenten meals symbolize and what is the origin of the customs of Easter Monday? Answers to these questions will be provided by ethnologist PhDr. Katarína Nádaská, PhD. as part of a lecture dedicated to traditional Easter customs and their meaning.

The event will offer an engaging look at the Lenten season, decorating Easter eggs and lesser-known connections to Easter traditions. Visitors can look forward to interesting facts, examples from practice and a pleasant discussion that connects history with how we perceive and live these customs today.
