The Hot Club of Berlin is led by Francisco Batista & Thomas Dekas, stylistically experienced guitarists who are already with the big names of the Gypsy -Jazz Rosenberg, Paulus Schäfer, Gonzalo Bergara, Sebastien Giniaux were on stage. Together with the best hot jazz cats in the city, they now form one of the freshly and most exciting bands in the city!

The Hot Club Orchestra adapted the Django Reinhardts pieces and other Gypsy jazz classics for a multi-piece ensemble. Look forward to a very special musical experience and come to a journey through time for the birth of European jazz!

Gianni Gagliardi from Barcelona "A rising star in the Brooklyner jazz scene", as Ron Netsky from the Rochester City Newspaper writes. His unique sound, its originality and artistic integrity have made it possible for him to perform all over the world in a wide variety of situations, from jazz to flamenco with greats such as Al Foster, John Clayton, Dick Oats, Gilad Hekselman or Jordi Rossy. He was a student at the Berklee College of Music, the State University of New York, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Conservatoire National Superior de Paris. Gianni is the founder of BCN Jazz Collective, a label and a platform for young composers to publish and promote their works. He is sought -after sideman and leader; His recordings were praised by international criticism in the highest tones.

Bastian Duncker was born in Kiel in 1989 and plays various wind instruments, mainly old and baritone saxophone. 2007-2012 studied at the Jazz Institute Berlin with Peter Less, Greg Cohen and Claudio Puntin. 2012-2013 he was artist in Residence at "Musicmatters" in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Since 2014 it has been an integral part of the house band of the Berlin record label Philophon and an active part of the Berlin jazz scene. He had steps and publications with Stella Chiweshe, Gunter Hampel, Hayden Chisholm, Guy One & The Polyversal Souls, Hailu Mergia, John Hollenbeck, Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, Alèmayèhu Eshèté, James Wylie, Pain Perdu, Jimi Tenor, Kati Brien, German Symphony orchestra. Concert tours and workshops led him in Algeria, Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Sri Lanka, India, Europe, USA, Canada.
Fox is a Berlin saxophonist with a deep global musical understatement. Born in East Berlin, he studied jazz studies in Mainz and Graz (Austria). He then expanded his musical horizons: research projects led him to India and China. In 2008 he returned to Berlin and worked on projects such as displacement from paradise, Katya Sourikova Group and the big band of the German Opera, to name just a few. He worked as a performer as well as a composer and arranger in numerous film and theater production. As a jazz and studio musician, he acts in versatile projects and gives numerous concerts at home and abroad. Fritz Moshammer is currently part of Alvaro Soler's band with concerts across Europe. He also toured Mark Forster for 5 years in the whole German -speaking area.

Declan Forsde is a pianist from Scotland and has lived in Berlin since 2014. In recent years, Filde has developed into an incredibly versatile pianist in Berlin, who is at home in almost every musical context. From Early Jazz with Igor Spallati's Musicomaniacs, about the performance of Duke Ellington's music with the American bass player Greg Cohen (Ornette Coleman, John Zorn, Woody Allen, etc.); Original music with James Banner's Usine up to freely improvised music with artists such as Jeff Williams, John Hollenbeck, Tobias Delius, Max Andrzejewski, Cansu Tanrikulu, Rudi Mahal, Jan Roder and Michael Griener. Filde also appears solo and was invited by the Berlin Festival to perform from July to December 2019 as part of the installation "Antoine's Organ" by the American artist Rashid Johnson. Outside the world of jazz and improvised music, Forse has been performing with the Scottish singer and artist Rachel Sermanni, touring her and taking pictures.

James Banner is a musician and composer who lives in Berlin. He appears in a variety of constellations in the areas of jazz, improvised and contemporary music in projects such as James Banner's Usine, Birgitta Flick Quartet and Tilo Weber Quartet: Four Fauns, as well as as a composer for joint projects with artists and collectives such as Stephanie Lamprea and the ARC Project. His music was supported and presented by the BBC, the PRS Foundation, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, the Initiative Music and the Berlin Senate. James is currently the co-curator of the monthly residency Practical Married (with Declan Forde) in the Berlin Donau115 and guest lecturer for improvisation at Leeds College of Music.
