Pražský filharmonický sbor

The Prague Philharmonic Choir, which will enter its 90th season in September 2024, is the oldest Czech professional choir. He is currently appreciated mainly for the interpretation of the oratorio and cantata repertoire. Since 2007, the choir has been led by chief choirmaster and artistic director Lukáš Vasilek. The choirmaster duo is completed by Lukáš Kozubík.

The Prague Philharmonic Choir gathers valuable experience from working with top conductors, who have recently been Semjon Byčkov, Jakub Hrůša, Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Harding, Zubin Mehta or Christoph Eschenbach. He also regularly participates in music festivals such as Smetanova Litomyšl, Pražské jaro, Dvořák Praha or Prague Sounds. In recent years, it has been active abroad as the resident choir of the Bregenzer Festspiele opera festival.
