Since 2018, the artists and artist groups have been leading kainkollektiv (Bochum), suite42 (Berlin), France-Elena Damian (Berlin) and Anna Koch/Moritz Pankok (tak e.V. Berlin /Mülheim) the tak Theater construction Kreuzberg. They came together with the jointly articulated idea of ​​conceiving a collective management model for an (free) theater house, supported equally by several groups. On the one hand, this idea follows a common focus for the focus of the house on transnational theater work with a view to topics and questions of globalized societies in the 21st century - all groups have had these for themselves for years between North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin and various Arabic-speaking countries - and Middle Eastern, (North) African and (East) European countries as well as with artists who are Roma. The groups also conducted more intensively and directly some of the artistic and political discussions that concern and shock us every day with artists who live and work in exile in Germany. In tak, they should also have time and space to try out things independently of these discussion situations.
